broke down in Nothing
on the side of the road
sitting here waiting
at least it’s not cold
nobody’s stopping
they just drive by
maybe they’re blinded
by the blue sky
I called for help
I had to call twice
cause when they answered
they really weren’t nice
they wanted to know
where I was broke
I told them “In Nothing”
it wasn’t a joke
I said, “Arizona,
in Nothing, you see?”
they finally got it
they’re coming for me
there’s nothing in Nothing
old heaps and a sign
to get my car fixed
that would be fine
my wife, she is bored
sitting here in the heat
I think she is wilting
she’s stuck to the seat
I’m certain we will
be leaving today
